Haunted Pub Tour October 2nd - 31st

This spooky 2.5 hour ghost tour ventures to the pubs and hotels in Portland’s historic Old Town District. Enjoy several local brews at your stops while learning about this area’s disturbing and wicked past—haunted by resident ghosts and plagued by paranormal activity. A special stop will be made at the Shanghai Tunnels, featured on the Travel Channels’ “Ghost Adventures”.

 

FashioNXT Week

October 3rd - 6th

Annual premier of next season’s collection of extraordinary designers on the runway. FasioNXT shows an innovative fashion experience in Portland and features designers worldwide. Recognized as the “city’s official fashion week” and by TIME magazine as “#1 in the US after New York”.

 

Portland Fall Home Show

October 4th - 7th

Join home experts, pros and gurus at the Portland Fall Home Show. Located at the Portland Expo Center, this event will feature home-improvement vendors, landscaping displays, designer rooms, and a variety of beautiful plants. You don’t want to miss out on the Northwest’s only fall home event!

 

Portland Tattoo Expo 2018

October 5th - 7th

The Portland Tattoo Expo boasts tattoo artists and vendors from around the world. Featuring tattoo contests, guest celebrity judges, stand up comedian George Wang Jr., and ice-cold beer. You must be age 18 to get a tattoo, but henna is all ages.

 

The Wedge – Cheese Festival

October 6th

This farmers market-style festival celebrates the wonderful world of cheese and everything that goes with it! Sample and purchase local, artisan cheese, beer, wine, cider, and specialty foods. Featuring more than 65 vendors and all proceeds go to the Oregon Cheese Guild.

 

Portland VegFest

October 20th - 21st

Recognized as Oregon’s premier plant-based food and lifestyle event, the Portland VegFest is expected to be bigger and better than ever! This vegetarian festival celebrates plant-based living! Enjoy free food samples, health and nutrition speakers, fitness stage workouts, chef demonstrations, films, restaurants, and activities for the whole family!

 

Howloween at the Zoo​

October 20th - 28th

This educational and fun event boasts activities, scavenger hunts, goody bags, treats & prizes, and your chance to watch the animals devour pumpkins! Best suited for children 2-12 years old and is free with zoo admission.

 

‘80s Video Dance Attack – Halloween Party​

October 26th

Throw on you best 80s attire and head over to the Crystal Ballroom for their haunting Halloween party. This is a fantastic excuse to dress up and celebrate the holiday with friends! Lights, music, dancing, 80s hits, Halloween videos, costume contests and prizes will be lurking here! 21 and over.

 

Antique and Collectible Show

October 26th - 28th

Noted as America’s largest antique & collection show, over 1000 vendors sell period furniture, toys, jewelry, lighting, books, vintage clothing, art, advertising, pop culture and so much more at the Portland Expo Center. Swing by to get your hands on vintage treasures from every era!

 

Not-So-Scary Halloween

October 28th

A “not-so-scary’ Halloween for the kids! Portland Children’s Museum provides entertainment and crafts for the little ones. The Not-So-Scary Halloween will include trick-or-treating, pumpkin smash and gooey guts, spooky story times, and glow-in-the-dark painting.
