Personal
Family is very important to me! I’m thankful for my loving husband Matt, a beautiful daughter named Quinn, a playful dog named Sasha and our new puppy, Chloe.
Never one to waste an opportunity for adventure, my family and I are often frequenting places across Portland like Jamison Square, local parks, the Oregon Zoo, Forest Park, and the Rose Garden. We both have deep joy in watching our daughter take in each new adventure and experience with us.
When off mom-duty, over the years I have enjoyed wine tasting, venturing to new restaurants and breweries with my husband, BBQing, gaming with family and friends, and having an occasional spa day. Weekends may include biking, hiking, home remodel projects, and beach adventures.
Community
I value serving and supporting community, especially within our Sexton Mountain neighborhood where we live.
I enjoy networking with other moms and encouraging others to create a wider community of positive, strong families. I do my best to support diaper drives, food drives, or meeting up with other mothers to ensure that each family has the resources needed to create a happy home life.
A sports and outdoor fanatic, I value the comradery, and spirit and teamwork that goes hand in hand with athletic recreation. I am often involved in a local volleyball league both as a player and youth coach. In the future, I aspire to create more support for positive sports programs for low-income youth through programs like sports equipment drives and donations.
My love for the outdoors and my community has inspired me to participate at clean up events in Beaverton's parks and neighborhoods and attend monthly neighborhood association meetings.
